Model CFM-1000 Fan Test Platform
Up to four fans can be tested simultaneously, in a single chassis or out, independently configured with different fan stimuli and attributes:
- Supply Voltage - Stable or Pulse-Width-Modulated (Hi/Lo Voltage, Frequency and Duty Cycle)
- PWM - Hi/Lo Voltage, Frequency, Duty Cycle, Configuration, Pullup Voltage and Strength
- Tach - 1 or 2 ticks per rotation, Pullup Voltage (same as PWM) and Strength
The user also defines Pass/Fail Criteria, selected from the following:
- Spinup Time (sec) - Minimum and Maximum
- Average Current (A) - Minimum and Maximum
- Maximum Inrush Current (A) - Maximum
- Inrush Duration (µs) - Maximum
- Spin Rate (RPM) - Minimum and Maximum, after Inrush Period
- PWM Leakage (µA, Static Test only) - Maximum
- Locked Rotor detection
Tests can be daisy-chained, so as to be independent, so the user can leave the fan spinning while starting a new test,
or let it spin down before starting a new test. Tests can be run overnight and results downloaded the next day.
Stand-Alone Testing
- Create Tests on Host PC and run them in Front-Panel Mode, single-button testing
