| Model CFM-1000 Fan Test Platform The CFM-1000 is a comprehensive stand-alone fan test platform designed to build a datasheet characterizing all the electrical properties of a fan. The fan is put through a series of tests, providing stimulus to the Supply 
Voltage (normal or Pulse Width Modulated), PWM line (if applicable), and Tach Pullup (if applicable).
Spinup Time, RPM, Average and Inrush Current details are stored for later download, all with Pass/Fail indication.
A Static Test records PWM Leakage when fan is not in use.
Pass/Fail indication is also shown by red or green leds on the unit's Front Panel.
The platform can be used during product development for fan evaluation, regression testing, failure analysis, and factory acceptance testing. DC fans from 3 to 24 Volts are supported. Up to four fans can be connected and tested at the same time. Supported fan types include simple two wire fans, fans with tachometers, PWM inputs, and Fan ID pins. A Windows-based application allows the user to easily configure test sequences specific to each channel, so a chassis of up to 4 fans can be characterized all at once. Results are stored on the CFM-1000, and can be downloaded directly to the PC via USB in .csv format. A Configurable Terminal Block is a also provided to allow easy connection of individual fans and is designed to fit most extant fans.
